Put the Bitcoin price on your OBS stream

Set up a transparent Bitcoin price overlay in OBS using a Browser Source. Customize the layout and currency in the free PRICEB.TC Studio.

Create your overlay

Open Widget Studio and choose OBS Overlay. Pick a layout and currency, customize the appearance, and inspect the transparent preview. Copy the OBS source URL generated by Studio.

Add a Browser Source

In OBS, add a Browser Source to your scene. Paste the copied URL into its URL field. Use the width and height shown in Studio for your chosen layout, then position and scale the source in your scene.

Transparency and readability

The overlay renderer supports a transparent background. Preview it over both bright and dark footage. Choose enough contrast for the price and labels and leave padding around the source so text is not cropped.

Troubleshooting

If nothing appears, confirm the URL opens in a regular browser and that OBS has network access. Refresh the Browser Source after changing its URL. If text is clipped, increase the source dimensions to match the export. Delayed data can reflect an upstream connection issue; check the homepage status before assuming the overlay is broken.

Before going live

Record a short test and inspect it at your stream resolution. Keep the source attribution and data status legible. The overlay shows market information, not a guaranteed buy or sell price. Other broadcasting tools with a Browser Source may also work; verify the result in your own setup.

Sponsorship

The OBS overlay is a free Browser Source utility. If you want your project visible beside the live Bitcoin price on PRICEB.TC, claim a Top 21 sponsor slot at /sponsors#claim with crypto. Overlay exports are not sponsor placements.
